What is the Tarot?
The Tarot is a deck of 78 cards often used as a tool of divination, counsel, and self-empowerment. They comprise two "parts", which are called the Major Arcana and Minor Arcana. The Minor Arcana typically has four suits that give insight into work, money, love, and the mind, while the Major Arcana deals with higher concepts like success, soulmates, and rebirth. There are a multitude of beautifully-drawn and artistic decks available, each with their own personalities and meanings.

How do they work?
We will take your question and arrange the cards into your chosen spread (see our guidance page). Our task is to extract information that the cards present to us and delve into the more mystical, esoteric side.
Do the cards tell me my future?
The cards point towards likely developments and events that may appear should you continue on your current course, and can offer advice to nudge you towards your goals.
Remember that we are all masters of our own destiny, but the Tarot is a great mentor to guide you towards achieving your dreams.
Are the cards ever unable to answer a question?
Yes, occasionally. Sometimes there may not be anything coherent to talk about. It may be that you need to adjust your question or intention, or maybe an answer isn’t available right now. If this should happen, we will discuss the next move with you.

I practice a religion; will having a reading clash with what I believe in?
The Tarot does not belong to any religious practice; it is a spiritual tool with an intuitive basis. And despite what may be prevalent in films and urban legends, they are not evil. They are not used to summon otherworldly or spiritual beings and they do not draw upon dark magic of any kind -- and we would absolutely refuse anyone who had the intention to ask us to use them for this purpose in a reading. People have Tarot readings for counsel and advice and, of course, for fun! But if you have any concerns, we would be happy to discuss them with you.
Can I have a general reading?
For the best reading, we recommend that you ask about a specific topic. General readings may flag up areas of interest and may provide insight into something predominant in your life at the moment. However, the cards may explore something which they feel would be important for you to know, not what you want to know.

Can I have a reading in person or on the phone?
We mainly conduct our readings over email through our detailed reports or with arrangement via Zoom. We may, however, in certain cases, be able to accommodate a reading in-person, over the phone, or through other means. Email us to discuss!
Can I pay using something other than PayPal?
No, we only accept payments via PayPal.
I didn’t get a confirmation email for my reading. What do I do?
First, please ensure that you entered all your information correctly via PayPal. You must also either email us directly at druidanddragontarot@gmail.com indicating that you have purchased a reading along with the relevant information.
If you have completed the first step, please contact us and we will investigate.
What if I have more questions from my reading?
We will happily provide clarifications if there is something in your reading that is unclear, but if you have more questions following the reading, you will need to purchase another one.
Do you do refunds?
No, all purchases are final. Regardless of how you feel about your reading, we will have provided our time, expertise, and the written document you have purchased. So please buy from us mindfully. If you have any queries or concerns, please do ask us first. We don't bite!
What if I ask a “bad” question?
If we feel that your proposed question will impact on the overall quality of your reading, we will contact you with suggestions.
Do you do events and parties?
Yes! We are available for events and parties. Email us your requirements and we will be happy to discuss it with you. We are based in Queen Camel, Somerset.
